The Community Advisory Council (CAC) is a chartered committee of the Willamette Health Council. The purpose of the Community Advisory Council is to provide recommendations and advice to the Willamette Health Council Board to ensure that PacificSource Community Solutions Marion-Polk remains responsive to consumer and community health needs.
Provide recommendations to the Health Council Board regarding Health-related Services, Social Determinants of Health and Equity spending decisions, community-based initiatives and other decisions as needed.
Assist in the development, implementation and evaluation of innovative initiatives, programs, services and activities meant to improve the health of the region.
Maximize and monitor meaningful engagement of those enrolled in the Oregon Health Plan, including recommendations and input on member engagement methods and materials.
The Community Advisory Council acts as a voice for Oregon Health Plan members in the region and as such must be representative of the diverse population of Marion and Polk counties. Members of the Community Advisory Council attend monthly meetings and shall be appointed for a term of two years.
